  • When will the conference take place? Where is it located?

    • The 10th international joint conference on Occupational Health for Health workers will take place November 28 - 30, 2017 at the Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel. Please click here for more information.

  • How can I register? What are the registration rates?

    • ICOH members will receive an email with registration details, when registration opens.

  • Am I eligible for the member rate?
    If you register for the conference between July 1 and October 31, 2017;
        - 2016 members who have not renewed for 2017 will receive the early bird non-member rate
        - 2017 members will receive the early bird before member rate
        - Non-members will receive the early bird non-member rate or can purchase a 2017 membership

    If you register for the conference after October 31, 2017;
        - 2016 members who have not renewed for 2017 will receive the non-member late registration rate
        - 2017 members will receive the member late registration rate 
        - Non-members receive the non-member late registration rate or can purchase a 2017 membership

  • How do I add a pre-conference workshop to my registration? Are workshops included in conference registration?

    • You can register for workshops on the registration form. Workshops are not included in conference registration and incur an additional fee. 

  • How can I register for the 10th International Joint Conference on Occupational Health for Health workers?

  • How can I submit the abstracts?

    • You can submit the abstracts via the Website between January 1 - July 15, 2017 and the abstract acceptance will be announced on
      July 15, 2017 – Please click here for more information

  • Can I submit an abstract if it was previously presented at another conference?

    • Abstracts are not eligible for consideration if the manuscript of the abstract has been presented and/or published BEFORE OHHCW 2017.

  • How many abstracts can I submit?

    • There is no limit to the number of abstracts an investigator may submit. However, authors of numerous abstracts have to consider that all abstracts are accepted, they may be in trouble at the time of presentation, because of possible time conflicts.

  • Can I open an account if I’m not the presenting author?

    • No, you have to be the presenting author to do so. One account = One presenting author = One or more abstract(s) submitted by the same presenting author.

  • If I don’t know the presenting author’s ID number. Can I use mine instead?

    • No. The presenting author’s ID number must be correspond with the name we have on file. If the name and ID number don’t match, the presenting author will not be recognized as such.

  • How can I reserve a hotel room, and what are the rates?

  • I only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible?

    • Yes. Please note that your registration is valid for all sessions and events throughout the conference.

  • Is the conference schedule available?

    • Details will be posted on our website as they are confirmed. A full conference schedule, including conference sessions, will be available on our website in late March.

  • When will the exhibit hall be open?

    • The schedule is available on the Sponsors and Exhibitors page, and will be published in the conference program when that is available online in April, 2017.

  • How can my organization become a conference sponsor?

    • Sponsorship opportunities are limited, so act today. Sponsorships are processed in April thru August for the conference the following year. To become a sponsor and for more information, please contact chanse@kku.ac.th For more information, please visit the Sponsors and Exhibitors page.

  • Can I advertise in the conference program?

    • Yes. Copy and payment must be received by August, 2017. Please contact chanse@kku.ac.th to make arrangements and click here for more details.

  • How can I receive a list of participants or attendees?

    • The participant list is sent to registered attendees twice: once after the early bird registration deadline, then after the regular registration deadline. A full participant list will be available at the OHHCW2017 Conference.

  • What services are available for special needs and requests?

    • Please contact chanse@kku.ac.th no later than August, 2017 to request ASL interpreter services or other accommodations for special needs. If you have dietary preferences, please be sure to mark those on the space provided on the registration form when you register.

  • I  just want to attend one session.  Is that possible to do without registering for the conference?

    • Individuals wanting to participate in one session must register for full conference; OHHCW 2017 does not allow unregistered attendees to come to sessions or other conference events
       

    • Session presenters -- those who are listed in the conference program and are formally presenting a session or facilitating a roundtable discussion -- are able to come to their session only without registering, but will not be permitted in the exhibit hall, will not receive conference materials, and will not be able to attend conference events other than the session they are facilitating.

  • Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?

    • OHHCW 2017 is unable to assist with travel or registration costs.

  • Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

    • A certificate of attendance is available upon request by emailing chanse@kku.ac.th following the conference.

  • What is the cancellation policy for the conference?

    • No refund will be issued for cancellations.

  • I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure?

    • Upon full payment of conference registration fees, the participant may request an invitation letter by emailing chanse@kku.ac.th
       

    • OHHCW 2017 will not supply an invitation letter to unpaid or unregistered participants, and reserves the right to refuse to provide invitation letters for attendees. Non-members outside Thailand requiring an invitation letter must pay by credit card. Please note that
       

    • OHHCW 2017 does not give any further support to the visa application process. Obtaining a visa remains the sole responsibility of the participant. Regular cancellation deadlines apply, regardless of whether your visa was granted or not.
